Texas Children's Choir

We at the Christian Performing Arts Center recognize that children and teens are the future leaders of our communities. It is our goal to consistently design programs that provide excellence in training and performance opportunities, while teaching our members to use their talents and gifts to glorify God.

It is a well known fact that the performing arts have a tremendous impact on the developmental growth of every child/teen, and build measurable self-esteem. Studies have also found that the arts impact youth at risk, and deter delinquent behavior.

Our organization continues its mission to reach young people for Christ through the arts. Since 1996, over one thousand children and teens have been a part of our performance groups. Originally a community children's choir, we now offer classes in dance and acting, as well as vocal performance and choir. Our organization has also expanded, and consists of two divisions: the Texas Children's Choir (ages 8-12) and Eternity Force (ages 13-21).

Our performers have been featured at Bass Performance Hall, Scott Theater, Six Flags Over Texas, MayFest, Arbor Daze, and many churches, school, and retirement homes. Our touring troupe has traveled to Houston, San Antonio, and Oklahoma, and one of our top groups toured nationally with VeggieTales in the summer of 2005. We have also appeared on Channel 11's morning show, DayStar Television's "The Joni Show", and "Revolution", our own original show on UPN-21.

The Christian Performing Arts Center is a Christian, non-denominational organization.
